This Wilson Brothers film, written by Luke Wilson and directed by Luke and Andrew Wilson, features an all-star cast consisting of Harry Dean Stanton, Seymour Cassel, and Kris Kristofferson. When an ex-con (Luke Wilson) gets a job in a retirement hotel, three elderly residents help him win back his girlfriend.
Pierrepoint--The Last Hangman
Albert Pierrepoint (Timothy Spall, All or Nothing) was a hangman. From 1933- 1955 he executed some 603 people, of whom 47 of them were Nuremburg Nazis, for which he earned praise. However by the time he hanged Ruth Ellis, the last to be executed in Britain, the public sentiment had changed.
