Kill the City and the return of AAC Matinee

Last week polarOPPOSITEbear performed at The Screening Room, and the lead singer stated, along with several other anecdotes of questionable verity, that he'd heard a rumor that The Cinemat was going to become a go-go bar. While I cannot confirm whether or not this is a real rumor, I can say with some certainty that there are no plans of this nature in the works.

What is in the works is our show coming up this Saturday, February 7th. Kill the City from Nashville, TN will be appearing with local bands Morrow and When We Might. The show should start around 8 PM, and cover is $5. Bring earplugs and stick around after the show for Atomic Age Cinema.

Speaking of AAC, this weekend marks the return of the Atomic Age Cinema Matinee, a two-hour weekly showcase of classic cartoons and TV serials. Admission is $3 for adults and $1.50 for kids. The show starts at 3 PM, but come early to get fresh popcorn and the really comfy seats.
